CTET 2020 Admit Card for the exam to be conducted in July 2020 can be downloaded by the applicants soon now. The authorities will be soon releasing the admit cards for the students who have applied for the CTET exam 2020. There is confusion among the applicants till now whether the CTET exam 2020 will take place or not. But as of now, the authorities have not yet confirmed any news of the postponement or cancellation of the exams. Hence, it can be estimated that the CTET exam 2020 may take place on the scheduled date and the CTET 2020 admit card will be released soon on the official website of CTET.

CTET 2020 Admit Card

Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET is conducted each year to test the capabilities and credentials of those candidates who wish to make their career in the teaching profession. The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Department has offered the responsibility on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for conducting this test each year.

CTET 2020 Admit Card Date

Like many other years, this year too, a huge number of aspirants have applied for the test and are waiting for the CTET Admit Card to be released. But as many of the entrance tests and other tests are getting postponed and even canceled due to the unrest in the country caused by the pandemic, there is confusion among the applicants regarding the CTET exam 2020 too. But as yet now there is no circular or announcement released from the authorities about the postponement or cancellation of the exam, it is expected that it will be conducted on its scheduled time itself that is by the first week of July 2020.

Earlier, the CTET Admit card was scheduled to be released by the 3rd week of June 2020. But it seems that the admit card release has been delayed by CBSE due to the current situation in the country.

But again, as it is expected that the exam will be conducted at is scheduled date itself, it is also expected that the CTET Admit Card will also be released soon by the authorities on the official website of CTET. Of course, as each day the cases of COVID 19 positive patients are increasing, it may also happen that the Board may come up with an announcement for an upgrade in the exam. CTET 2020 Exam Date and Timing

Central Board of Education released a circular on 24th January 2020 declaring about the 14th edition of CTET. As per the circular, the date for the test is scheduled for 5th July 2020 and will be conducted in as many as 112 cities across the country. The candidates applying for the test will be able to appear in any of the 20 Indian languages as per the CTET guidelines. Detailed information about the languages, exam center, syllabus, and others is made available on the bulletin section of the official website of CTET.

The last date for the submission of form for the CTET exam 2020 was initially 24th February 2020 that was extended by the authorities soon till the first week of March 2020. As of now, there are no changes made in the CTET 2020 Exam Date and Timing except for the fact that the CTET admit card that was scheduled to be out by the third week of June 2020 is now delayed. But it is expected that the CTET 2020 Admit Card will be soon released and the candidates will be able to appear for the exam on the scheduled date and time itself.

How to Download CTET Admit Card 2020?

As soon as the CTET Admit Card 2020 gets released, candidates who are appearing for the exam can download it from the official website in just a few simple steps.

Step – 1 – The candidates need to go to the official website of the exam at https://ctet.nic.in.

Step – 2 – On the homepage itself, under the Links section, the link for Download Admit Card will be available on which the candidate has to click.

Step – 3 – A page will open up, where the candidate needs to fill in the form by providing details that are the registration number, password, and date of birth.

Step – 4 – After properly providing all the necessary details, the candidate has to click on the Submit options.

Step – 5 – As the Submit button is clicked, the CTET Admit Card is displayed on the screen that the applicant has to download and get a print of.

Important Instructions for CTET 2020 Candidates

There are a few of the important instructions and points that CTET 2020 candidates need to take care of.

  • CBSE was supposed to release the CTET Admit Card by the 3rd week of June 2020 earlier but it is now delayed. It may also happen that the CTET Exam 2020 may get postponed in the wake of the pandemic situation in the country. Hence, it is important that the candidates keep a track of the latest update about the CTET 2020 details.
  • CTET Admit Card will hold important details such as the exam date, time, and center.
  • All the candidates should get a print of the CTET Admit Card 2020 and should carry it to the exam center. Anyone who is not able to present the admit card will be not allowed to sit for the exam.

About CTET 2020

The CTET exam is conducted by CBSE Board under the HRD Ministry of India. The exam is conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for the candidates who have applied for jobs to teach students of classes 1 to 5. The candidates need to prepare comprehension, unseen passages, language development, pedagogy, and child development for Paper 1. On the other hand, Paper 2 is for the candidates who wish to apply for jobs to teach students of classes 6 to 8. For Paper 2, the candidates need to prepare child development, Language, mathematics, social science, science, and language development.

Candidates who have applied for the CTET Exam 2020 must be revising their subjects as of now as the scheduled exam, for now, is 5th July 2020. But as the CTET Admit Card 2020 has been delayed, it is quite unpredictable whether the exam will be conducted on the same scheduled date or will be postponed like many other exams in the country currently.
