The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially released the Hall Ticket/Admit Card for the Term-End Examination (TEE) December 2025 on 20-24 November 2025. The exams are scheduled from 1 December 2025 to 14 January 2026, as per the published date sheet. All eligible students who submitted the TEE exam form can now download their hall tickets from the IGNOU Samarth Portal.

If you have successfully submitted the December 2025 TEE Exam Form, your hall ticket is now available for download — IGNOU has activated the link once student records were processed.

With the exam form submission window for December 2025 TEE now closed, IGNOU has made the hall tickets available for download in late November 2025 — typically a few days before the commencement of exams.

Students can now download their Theory as well as Practical Examination Hall Tickets from the official IGNOU Samarth Portal using their Enrollment Number and Programme Code.

Note – Candidates are requested to keep their IGNOU ID Card or enrollment number handy so that they can easily access and download the IGNOU Hall Ticket as it is now released by IGNOU University.

IGNOU Hall Ticket December 2025: Release Date

IGNOU’s Term-End Examination (TEE) for December 2025 is officially scheduled to take place from 1 December 2025 to 14 January 2026 for ODL & Online programmes. The hall ticket for eligible students was released on 20-24 November 2025, according to media and university notifications.

Please note: The practical exam hall tickets for the December 2025 TEE have not been released yet by IGNOU as of now. While the main Hall Ticket/Admit Card for the December 2025 TEE was uploaded on 17th November 2025 via the Samarth Portal.

What this means for students:

  • If your programme includes a practical component, do not assume that the theory hall ticket covers all practical exam details until you verify.
  • Keep regularly checking the IGNOU Samarth Portal and the “Announcements” section of the University website for a specific practical hall ticket link or update.
  • It is possible that the practical exam schedule and admit cards might be released closer to the practical exam dates, after the theory exams commence or conclude.
  • Once issued, the practical hall ticket (or combined theory + practical hall ticket) will contain important information such as: exam centre, date & time of practical, subject codes, programme code, etc.

  • If you find your programme’s practical component listed in the date sheet but cannot find any download link for the practical hall ticket, contact your Regional Centre or Study Centre proactively—keep your enrollment number, exam form submission proof, and other relevant documents ready.
  • Do not wait until the last minute to check for the practical admit card; delays or technical glitches happen frequently during high-traffic periods.

IGNOU conducts entrance examinations for select academic programs such as PhD, B.Ed, and Post Basic BSc Nursing. These entrance tests are mandatory for candidates seeking admission to these professional and research-based programs.

The hall ticket for each entrance exam is usually released 7 to 10 days before the scheduled exam date, allowing candidates to prepare and confirm their exam center and schedule in time.

Important Note: Candidates are requested to keep their hall ticket with them while reaching to examination centre before 9:15 AM. Candidates will be not permitted to enter after 10:30 AM.

How to Download IGNOU Hall Ticket 2025?

To download your IGNOU Hall Ticket for the December 2025 Term-End Examination, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the IGNOU Samarth Student Portal

  2. Go to the ‘Examination’ Section
    Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Examination’ tab on your dashboard.
  3. Click on ‘Hall Admit Card’
    Under the Examination tab, select ‘Hall Admit Card’.
  4. View the Hall Ticket Table
    You will see a table displaying your details, including:
    • Programme
    • Term
    • Application Status
    • Action
    Under the ‘Action’ column, you will find a Download link.
  5. Download and Print
    • Click the Download link to open your hall ticket PDF.
    • Review the information carefully (exam center, date, time, subjects, etc.)
    • Print a copy to carry with your IGNOU ID card to the examination center.

Reminder: IGNOU does not send printed hall tickets. You must download and print it yourself.

Things To Do After Downloading IGNOU Hall Ticket

After downloading your IGNOU Hall Ticket for the December 2025 Term-End Examination, carefully verify all the details printed on it. This is an essential step before appearing for the exam. Here’s what to do:

      There are two types of date sheet. I think you should try to find your subjects in both ie in date wise datesheet, and subject wise datesheet…

    when i was submitting my tee fees for BDP it was showing that i have not submitted 4 assignment out of 7 although i have submitted them and i had a paper signed by the in charge who was collecting assignment.does it really means that my assignments are not submitted? and does it will effect me to give the tee.

    4. सर मैं सेना में नौकरी करता हूं,और जम्मू-कश्मीर के दुर्गम इलाकों में तैनात हूं और एम०ए० second semester में हूं,मेरा exam Dec 2018 में था मगर दुर्गम इलाकों में पोस्टेड होने के कारण exam देने के लिए मैं छुटी नहीं आ सका , फिर जून 2019 के लिए exam form भरा,इतेफाक से फिर छुट्टी नहीं पा सका और फिर second semester वंचित रह गया । इसलिए श्रीमान से नम्र निवेदन है कि हर तीन महीने में परीक्षा कराने का प्रावधान किया जाए।
