Download assignment question papers from the official assignment portal:

  1. Open the assignment section.

  2. Select your level (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PG Diploma/Diploma/Certificate/PG Certificate).

  3. Choose your programme, then course.

  4. Select the session and year.

  5. Download and print the PDFs.

Follow the instructions in your booklet (handwritten answers only; typed answers are not accepted unless explicitly allowed).

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods in 2025

There are two ways to submit assignments. The preferred method is decided by your Regional Centre/Study Centre.

Offline Assignment Submission

  • Submit handwritten assignments (A4 sheets, properly bound) at your allotted Study Centre.

  • Include a cover page with Name, Enrolment No., Programme, Course Code/Title, RC/SC codes, Session.

Online Assignment Submission

  • Some RCs enable online submission via RC portals/forms/LMS.

  • Upload PDFs course-wise using the exact course codes.

  • Keep your email/SMS acknowledgement and submit hard copy later if instructed by RC/SC.

Keep a physical copy safely even if submitted online; your Study Centre may call for a physical submission later.

  5. I have taken admission in Jan 2024 for MAPC first year. My last date of submission was Sept 30, 2024 which I missed for all but one paper. My queries are as follows:
    CAn If I have to submit response to the rest of the subjects, before the next deadline, do I use the same questions for writing the assignments? Or will different questions be published for the next submission of these subjects?

  8. I’ve registered myself for MSCZOO in July 2024 session and got the confirmation of admission and also got the ID card. I have registered for DNHEOL for January 24 session, no induction program or councelling session was arranged by the regional centre. it’s really challenging for me to understand when , where , how to submit the assignment, when to give the exam…pl guide how do I get the complete time- line of the program for which I have been enrolled…would be grateful.

    1. For induction program, u will shd have received an email from the regional center by this time and it shd have over, so other hand u shd directly go to the center and enquire abt it, otherwise u ll not get any info abt it
