How to Login for the Online Exam
- Go to ignouexam.samarth.ac.in and login with your credentials.
- On first login, change the default password and update your profile photo (webcam click is allowed).
- Open your course/exam and click Launch Safe Exam Browser.
- SEB will open the exam login—re-enter your credentials, click Attempt Exam Now, read instructions and start.
- Keep the webcam on for the entire duration or the system will auto-submit.
Forgot password? Use the portal’s “Forgot Password” link and reset using your registered email.
Minimum System Requirements (Online Proctored)
- Desktop/Laptop with keyboard/mouse, webcam and microphone
- Stable power backup and reliable internet (mobile data not permitted)
- Windows 10/11 or macOS (10.x/11/12)

MCQ vs Descriptive: Check Your Paper Type
The Question Paper Type PDF lists each course as MCQ or Descriptive (e.g., MCD1–MCD5: MCQ; many BEGC/MPCE/BSW courses: Descriptive). Confirm your course code and plan your practice accordingly.
