IGNOU MSCDFSM Credit System

As we all know, IGNOU has implemented a credit system in the MSCDFSM program in which the candidates have to earn a total of 72 credits to obtain the IGNOU MSCDFSM certificate. Therefore, each of the MSCDFSM courses will have an appropriate number of credits that you will earn only after you complete the particular subject. The MSCDFSM candidates can get to know about the total number of credits that they need to earn to become eligible for the IGNOU MSCDFSM degree certificate.

    I am Sayanti Majhi,IGNOU student of MSCDFSM (JULY 2022 batch),my study centre is in kolkata Women’s College, teachers of the centre are good but they only take the practical classes like theoretically like they are reading a notes and we have to write down but this is a practical based subject nutrition how we learn the methods in hand. They said there is no lab for us .It is very disappointing for us please look out this matter.

  8. I’m staying in Mumbai, want to do PGDDPN, but there is no study centre in Mumbai, if I fill Pune centre, how will I do my practicals , how frequently I’ve to go to Pune.pls give me the guidelines

  9. I want to DO MSCDFSM but I don’t have B.Sc. degree. So can I do DNHE from IGNOU itself and then apply for this course.. I am a post graduate in commerce..

  10. Are the exams in mscdfsm semester wise or annually?
    When are the classes held- weekdays or weekends?
    Do we have to give the practical exams also?

    1. Exam are conducted annually. But you can choose to give the exam in parts after completion of 1year. Exam are held twice a year – in June and December. And yes there are compulsory practical exams. To the course 3 months internship in multi speciality hospital and a dessertation project is a must.

    1. Practical will be conducted once in a year in april/may continuously for 30 days and attendance is compulsory.
