IGNOU Project submission for the Term-End Examination of December 2025 is officially open for learners whose programmes include project or practical components. As per IGNOU’s announcement, the last date to submit Project Reports, Field Work Journals, Practicum, Dissertations, and Internship Reports for TEE Dec 2025 is 30th November 2025 for both ODL and Online programmes (GOAL & EVBB included).
IGNOU, one of India’s most prestigious distance learning universities, continues to offer online project submission to make the process safe and convenient for students. The same submission guidelines from the earlier sessions remain applicable for Dec 2025.

IGNOU Project Guidelines
IGNOU releases a set of guidelines for every term-end examination to help students submit their projects correctly. The key points for the Dec 2025 session are as follows:
- The project must be prepared strictly as per the guidelines provided in the project booklet or SLM.
- Both the learner and the project guide must sign the Proposal Proforma, Biodata, Synopsis, and Certificate of Originality before scanning and uploading.
- The learner should obtain digital approval of the Project Guide on the Proforma and Synopsis through email to the concerned Regional Centre.
- The original signed documents should be scanned clearly and compiled into a single PDF for each course.
- The cover page format must be followed strictly (details given below).
- The project evaluation fee, introduced from the January 2023 cycle, continues to apply:
- ₹300 for projects worth up to 4 credits
- ₹500 for projects above 4 credits
This fee must be paid along with the TEE form, and the payment receipt should be uploaded with the project.
- Viva-voce will be conducted by Regional Centre faculties as per their schedule.

Where to Submit the IGNOU Project?
All IGNOU projects for TEE Dec 2025 must be submitted online. The link for the Online Project Submission Portal will be published on the IGNOU website (News/Announcements section).
For digital approval of your synopsis or Proforma, email your Regional Centre (RC) or the concerned School. You can find your RC’s contact details on the IGNOU Regional Centre list
How to Submit the IGNOU Project?
Candidates who have been submitting project reports and assignments offline to date may find it a bit uncomfortable thinking about it. However, the steps for project submission online have been made much easier and more convenient by the IGNOU portal. Students can submit the IGNOU project quite conveniently by following these simple steps.
Step – 1 – First, the student has to go to the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in.
Step – 2 – Go to the News and Announcements section and click on the Online Project Submission link for Dec 2025, or directly visit the access the online submission portal.
Step – 3 – Read the guidelines carefully and click YES to continue.
Step – 4 – Click on Upload Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journal/Internship Report.
Step – 5 – Enter your Enrolment Number, Programme Code, Regional Centre, and other required details.
Step – 6 – Enter the Security Code shown on the screen and click Submit.
Step – 7 – Upload your single PDF file (per course), ensuring that all required pages are included and correctly formatted.
Step – 8 – Attach the Project Evaluation Fee receipt (paid with your TEE form).
Step – 9 – Submit the file and save the acknowledgement for future reference.
IGNOU Project Front or Cover Page
The cover page is a crucial element of your project report. It must include the following details:
- Title of the Project
- Name of the Student
- Enrolment Number
- Programme Code
- Regional Centre Code
- Course Code for which the Project is submitted
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
Make sure the formatting matches the guidelines provided in your SLM or project booklet.

There are some important details that you need to highlight on the project report cover page when you are submitting it online. These details are the project report title, name and enrolment number of the candidate, program code and regional center code, course code for which the project has been submitted, mobile number, and the email address of the student.
IGNOU Project Status and Result 2025
The IGNOU Project Status link should be linked at least 20 to 25 days after the last date for the project report submission. As soon as the status link is released, the students will be able to check through their project report status by visiting the official website of IGNOU.
Follow these steps to check your project report status.
Step – 1 – On the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in, you will find the Project Status link when it is being released by the University.
Step – 2 – As you click on the link, a page will come up where you need to log in with your University credentials.
Step – 3 – As you click on the Submit option after providing the details, the Project Status will be displayed on the screen.
Step – 4 – You can download this status and can take a print out of it.
IGNOU Students can also check or inquire about their project status by emailing at projects@ignou.ac.in for the current status of their submitted project.
The final result of the project report along with the assignments will be also released soon by IGNOU on its official website from where the students can check them too.
IGNOU Project 2025: FAQs
Q1. Can I submit my IGNOU Project online?
Yes. IGNOU now accepts online submissions for all Project Reports, Dissertations, Practicum, and Internship Reports.
Q2. Is offline submission required after online submission?
No. Once you submit online successfully, there’s no need to send a hard copy. However, keep a personal copy and acknowledgement receipt for future reference.
Q3. What is the Project Evaluation Fee?
The project evaluation fee continues from the Jan 2023 cycle: ₹300 for projects up to 4 credits and ₹500 for projects above 4 credits. Pay this amount while filling out your TEE form and upload the payment receipt with your project.
Q4. Whom should I contact for project-related queries?
