IGNOU BSc Nursing Eligibility 2025
As per the official BSCNPB 2023-24 prospectus, the eligibility criteria are as follows:- In-service Nurses who are Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).
- 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and a minimum of two years’ experience in the profession.
- For male nurses who have not completed midwifery in their GNM programme – a certificate in any Nursing course (6–9 months) prescribed by INC in lieu of midwifery is required.
- OR 10th class (Matriculation) with GNM and at least five years’ experience in the profession (for RNRM).

- Minimum Duration: 3 Years
- Maximum Duration: 6 Years

IGNOU BSc Nursing Fee Structure 2025
The programme fee is ₹23,000 per annum per student (subject to revision). Candidates are not required to pay the programme fee along with the entrance form. The fee is to be paid only after receiving the admission offer from IGNOU.- Registration Fee: Payable online with the entrance application form.

IGNOU BSc Nursing Admission Procedure 2025
The admission process consists of two main stages:1. Entrance Test (OPENNET 2025)
- Entrance conducted by IGNOU across India on 16 March 2025.
- Objective-type test (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes (02:00 PM to 04:30 PM).
2. Counselling and Final Admission
- After result declaration, Regional Centres publish the Merit List/Offer of Admission.
- Shortlisted candidates must report to the Regional Centre with original documents (educational, RNRM, experience, category certificate, ID proof, etc.).
- Programme Fee (₹23,000) must be paid online as per RC instructions.
