IGNOU Study Material Dispatch Status 2019-2020 – After taking admission from IGNOU every student are willing to waiting for their hard books and study materials from the university. Candidates can find study materials dispatch status for July 2018, January 2019, July 2019 and January 2020 session from here. Generally, study materials are sent from IGNOU Head Campus, Maidan Garhi, Delhi and sometimes from the concerned regional centre from where a student took admission.
It is very necessary that each of the students has IGNOU books for the preparation of current session assignments. Candidates can solve their assignment questions of a particular subject by using study materials. If you opted printed books while taking admission in Jan 2020 session then your books status will get updated after closing of current admission session which means after 20th January 2020.
July 2019 Book Dispatch Status
As we all know that the Online Admission session for July 2019 already closed and IGNOU Head Office has started to update the study material dispatch status for those students who took admission in the most recent session July 2019. Candidates are advised to keep checking this link to get updated status and the delivery date of your printed study materials.
Jan 2019 Book Dispatch Status
Candidates can find their study materials dispatch status after they received admission approval and confirmation message from IGNOU RC. Study Material dispatch status is now ready to check for those students who took admission in January 2019.

If you have taken admission in the most recent session January 2018 then you can find your books dispatch status from this link.
Candidates need to provide their 9 digit enrollment number which they received in the admission confirmation message. They need to entre number and click on submit to find the current status of study material dispatch from IGNOU. If your book’s dispatch status is not yet available to check then please wait and check after a few days.
All Students can trace the complete status of IGNOU study material from this page. Books are sent to the student’s address by post. It is helpful to find that when they will receive their study materials to their address.
My Study Materials are not delivered yet, What to do?
If your study material is not delivered to you within maximum time duration then candidates can contact the Study Material Department at IGNOU Head through mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to get responses for your query. We also advise our students that they first check their study material dispatch status properly before mailing to the IGNOU Head team.
In many cases, student’s books are delivered to the concerned regional centre so first confirm from your RC that they received your books from IGNOU Head or not. If it is available at your RC then you can collect from them by showing your IGNOU ID card.
