Migration Certificate is needed when students want to migrate from one state to another state of same country. Many of the candidates want to migrate to another state to complete their study as well as education with their preferred and interested university.
Migration Certificate is issued by IGNOU University when the students want to leave the current institution and want to get admission in another university for his further study. At the time of getting migration certificate from IGNOU, candidates have to certify that he/she have not enrolled with any other university/Institution after passing out from IGNOU up to this date.
How to get Migration Certificate from IGNOU?
Candidates have to first download the given application form and fill it with correct details because if any information being found incorrect then the Certificate shall be liable for cancellation by the University.
At the time of submission of the application for issue of Migration Certificate to your regional centre, the applicant should attach duly attested Xerox copy of consolidated Statement of Marks and the Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate issued by IGNOU University. It should be submitted only to IGNOU Regional Centre in which the student was last allotted.
Fees for Migration Certificate
Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 by Demand Draft in favour of IGNOU and payable at the city of Regional Centre concerned.
If student has lost Migration Certificate or its destroyed or mutilated then Duplicate Migration Certificate can be issued with payment of Rs. 500 on submission of an Affidavit drawn upon a non-judicial stamp paper the value of Rs.10/- to be sworn in before a Magistrate.
