IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 – IGNOU has started a new approach for acknowledging new talents in their students. The university has decided to honour students who have shown innovation in terms of entrepreneurship and creativity. These students will be provided the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022.
Eligibility
The Government of India has started the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission in which the aim is to motivate and support the new entrepreneurs of the country. IGNOU has started its new initiative keeping this aim of the Indian Government in mind. NCIDE has welcomed IGNOU students to apply for the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022.
The students who are registered under different IGNOU programs are eligible for the award. These students have to apply for the entries if he or she has done any kind of innovation in any of the given fields by the university.

Awards and Prizes
The winners will be awarded trophies, certificates, and also cash prizes.The cash prizes are in three categories and these are of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/-, and Rs. 5,000/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner respectively.
Application Dates
The university has released the notice about IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 on 27th July 2022. The university has already started accepting entries from the bonafide candidates of IGNOU. The last date for submission of the application along with the video clips of their presentation is 30th September 2022.
Instructions and Guidelines
Students who are applying for IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 have to follow these guidelines.
- The students who have been awarded will be recognized across the country.
- Only the three best innovators will be awarded trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
- A few potential innovators will be allowed to have a conversation with the best innovators to gain more experience.
- Also, the selected innovators will be provided support for enhancing their innovation skills in their respective fields.
- The applicants have to apply through email only. No hardcopy or offline applications will be entertained.
- The students who are selected will also have to display a presentation about their innovations.
- The results will be declared over the website of IGNOU.
- The decision made by the university will be final and the applicants have to abide by it.
- Students need to strictly follow the submission date as after that no entries will be entertained.

How To Apply for IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022?
The students who wish to apply for the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 have to follow these steps in order to apply for it and submit their entries.
Step – 1 – The application form can be downloaded directly from above.
Step – 2 – It is mandatory to type the answers in the form and it should not be handwritten.
Step – 3 – Supporting documents for the details that you have provided in the form should be there.
Step – 4 – Also, there should be a small video presentation of 5 to 10 minutes or an URL that leads to the video presentation.
Step – 5 – There should be also some photographs that are relevant to your innovation.
Step – 6 – All the above documents have to be emailed at ncide@ignou.ac.in.
