The university currently conducting IGNOU BSc Entrance for the Post Basic BSc Nursing program, IGNOU Bed entrance for taking admission to Bed program, and IGNOU PhD entrance to take admission in your interested PhD program.
Also, IGNOU admission form of the university can be submitted both through online and offline mode. You can get the offline form from the regional department of the IGNOU, whereas the online form will be available on the website only. Compared to the offline method, it is always advised to pick the online method for IGNOU Admission. The reason is support for this is the process is rapid and will not create any mess.
How To Apply for IGNOU Admission 2024
- You need first to take a step towards the website of IGNOU.
- The main page will consist of several tabs, search for Register Online and proceed with the Admission link.
- Start with the process of registration as mentioned by filling the information like name, gender, email id, user name, password, etc. plus the secure code as displayed, and click on Submit.
- At this step, you are set with the registration, so kindly login and begin with the filling of the application form for the selected course.
- Enter the documents stated in the online application form in scanned format within 10KB size.

IGNOU Re Registration 2024
IGNOU students must complete the re-registration process at the end of every semester or session to continue with the university. Students can re-register for their respective courses from the Samarth portal of the IGNOU official website. IGNOU Re-registration is important because the university does not charge course fees in a single go. The students pay the fees semesterwise or sessionwise. So, as soon as you have completed one semester or session, you can re-register for the next one when the re-registration process opens up.
IGNOU Fee Structure 2024
As we have already discussed the full range of courses being taught in the university, so it evident the fees will vary. To giving a generic idea, IGNOU Fee Structure range from 1200 to 2500 Rs as per the course. Well, it is not mandatory to submit the fees at one time. Students can pay the fees year or semester wise. IGNOU Fee Exemption Scheme 2024
The students who belongs to SC/ST category can get the benifit of IGNOU Fee Exemption Scheme in which the students can complete the eligible courses free of cost just by paying the registration fees of the said program. The candidates should comply with the below eligibility criteria to get benefited.
- SC/ST students who are already doing some job or are employed
- Certificate and diploma students
- Students having scholarship under any other program
The candidates who are differently-abled can apply for the scholarship plans. To gain the scholarship,

- The expected monthly income of the parent should be 3 lakh per annum or less
To fill the scholarship form, the responsibility lies on the students. The entire process will be performed online. To gather more information, Annexure – 1 will do the purpose. If you have registered for an earlier year, then it will be compulsory to get the re-registration done for the consecutive year.

IGNOU Scholarship plans are open for all, but there are certain restrictions. Many students find it confronting to sustain education, and the reason is fee submission.
